Community Service Scholarship
2026 Scholarship applications are open. Deadline: Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 23:59 hrs (11:59 PM).
The Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island awards Community Service Scholarships to eligible students who demonstrate exemplary commitment to, and leadership in, community service.
Eligibility: This scholarship is for high school seniors graduating in the spring who maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, and who live and/or attend high school on Bainbridge Island.*
Award amount: Awards may be up to $5,000.
Application deadline: Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 23:59 hrs (11:59 PM).
Interviews: Finalists will be invited to an in-person interview on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
How to apply: This year the Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island will use the Common Grant Application (CGA) for our Community Service Scholarship applications.

* Applicants who have a Rotarian parent are not eligible for RCBI Scholarships. For these students, other ways to honor “Service Above Self” may be available such as the Paul Harris pin. Informal nominations can be submitted directly to the club’s Foundation Committee and can come from a variety of sources.
