Taking Action To Help Local Business![]() December 4, 2020 Acting quickly to help island businesses survive the economic impacts of COVID-19, the BI Rotary Club granted $15,000 to the BI Downtown Association and BI Chamber of Commerce to build a unique shopping website. Created to showcase the best of Bainbridge by pulling together representative items from island retailers, artists, artisans, and more, The General Store gives an overview of what can be found in the stores, studios and workshops across the island. |
BIRC Raises $112,332 at First Online Auction & Rummage Sale![]() September 1, 2020 Auction Chair Susie Burdick and her team of Rotarians and volunteers announced the results of our first ever Online Auction & Rummage Sale. Because of the pandemic, we opted for an online auction......and thanks to all the wonderful volunteers, donors, shoppers, and community members, it was a huge success! |

BI Rotary Awards Community Grants![]() July 1, 2020 Chuck Everett, Chair of the Community Grants Committee completed presentations of this year’s Community Grant Awards to twenty -one (21) recipients.These grants to non-profits in our community fund short-term purchases or projects, and create a lasting impact on where we work and live. We awarded over $95,000 to help these non-profits continue their service to our community. |
